BFL Carpet Clean
Applications:Carpets
A high foaming, fast wetting, environmentally friendly carpet and upholstery cleaner.
The vast majority of stains and spills on carpets and upholstery are organic in nature. While conventional carpet cleaners help to mobilise stains they can't remove residual organic materials. These organic materials can decay and give rise to off odours that linger in the fibres and contribute to stale smells in rooms. The organic materials giving rise to most problems are urine, vomit, faeces, beer, wine, milk, etc.
Typical problem areas include: -
Nursing homes
Ferries/Cruise liners
Nightclubs
Bars
Restaurants
Car upholstery
Directions for Use
BFL is supplied in the form of a concentrated liquid. One litre will make 10 litres of ready to use product. Add 1 litre to 9 litres of clean, good quality water. The product should be applied using a spray bottle for best results. Prior to use, test a hidden section of carpet to ensure that it is colourfast.
Spot cleaning
Shake the spray bottle well before applying to the stain. Hold the bottle 15-25 cm above the stain and then spray to completely saturate the stained area. Leave for 30 minutes. Then wipe with a clean sponge or cloth. It is important that any sponge or cloth used is colourfast. Repeat treatment as necessary until the stain is removed or the cloth or sponge removes no further stained material.
General cleaning
The product can be used as a normal carpet shampoo through a machine. Apply shampoo to the carpet and leave for 20 minutes and then remove. Repeat treatment if necessary. Best results are achieved using a wet extraction machine.
Product safety
The microbial strains in BFL Carpet Clean are all naturally occurring. They have not been genetically modified in any way. These microbial strains have been classified as harmless to humans, animals and plants. The product is subjected to independent testing to ensure that is free of Salmonella and other contaminants.
