BioFuture Develops Natural Compost Accelerator

In Ireland,Pay by Weight Charges wereintroduced in 2005. By maximising efforts to recycle and reduce the amount of waste for collection, significant savings can be made.

About 1/3rd of household waste comprises kitchen and garden materials. Much of this material is organic and can be transformed into compost which can be used as a soil conditioner, soil improver or garden fertiliser. Composting is a simple and natural way of minimising the quantity of waste in the waste bin. It is easy to do and requires very little specialized knowledge or equipment. It generates a useful product from material that would otherwise be sent to landfill where space is limited.

Different materials will decompose at different rates. To speed things up, use of a biological product such as AcceliComp will greatly accelerate the composting process especially during the winter months. AcceliComp contains natural microbes that readily degrade organic waste. Add at the beginning and during the composting process and see instant improvement. The resulting compost will be a rich dark brown colour, crumbly texture and a pleasant earthy smell.
